Construction Schedule for
Lower Merion High School

The new school building is fully occupied and in service. The old school buildings are gone, except for the historic Administration Building. Its classrooms are now occupied by administrative staff while the front section of the building (facing Montgomery Ave.) is renovated with new plumbing, wiring, and windows.

The cleared land has been graded and paved for parking. Landscaping will be started in fall 2011 and completed in spring 2012. The Arnold Field facilities, except for the football field, will not be ready for use until fall 2012 or later
Schoolhouse Lane will remain closed to through traffic until the summer of 2012. At that time it will be made one-way in from Montgomery Ave., with an extended dividing strip to separate the Township street from the school entrance driveway and a boldly-marked pedestrian crosswalk.
